A tapping on the glass
I turn to see the source
Just the rain outside
Like the drummers of the parade
Raindrops on the window
Bubbles suspended on the glass
Streams flowing down
Like the tears that are gone
The knocking ceases
Silence is restored
A rainbow in the sky
A bridge of light and hope
